It may not yet be the Hollywood of the East Coast but the borough of Media is becoming a hotbed for TV and film production.  Production crews have taken over Sligo Irish Pub on State Street for an independent film “Bad Boys-Crazy Girls”.  Production trucks and crews were seen all morning in and out of the pub. We hear they are filming several scenes in Media and Delaware County. The films stars Adam Pally from “The Mindy Project” and “Happy Endings”  Several local background actors have been hired for the production as well.

According to the movie’s website “Bad Boys Crazy Girls” is a romantic comedy about Jeff and Anne, two close friends and co-workers who are embarrassingly unlucky in love. When Jeff notices Anne’s obsession with bad boy Max and Anne notices Max’s obsession with his crazy ex-girlfriend, the two embark on a blind-leading-the-blind ride to becoming “bad” and “crazy”. At first a fun adventure of self-discovery, Jeff and Anne’s transformation turns into a comedic train wreck as they lose their identities, their dignity, and quite possibly, each other.
