Lord Stanley made a trip to the Jersey Shore. In what is one of the coolest traditions in sports, each member of the Stanley Cup winning team gets to spend 24 hours with the Cup. And there have been some crazy stories of what has been done in the Cup.  (When the Red Wings won the Cup it ended up in Kid Rock’s swimming pool.)  Los Angeles Kings Assistant Coach John Stevens who owns a home in Sea Isle City decided to bring the Cup down th shore. It will be on display TODAY at 11am-Noon on the 57th Street Beach.

Last night according to Twitter and Instagram pics the Cup spent some of the afternoon at the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol tent and then later on at O’Donnell’s Pour House.
